Chambray All Day

Could the sky be any bluer today? That must've been my inspo for dressing in denim on denim. I got this Zara chambray button down it has snaps—does that make it a snap-down?) about 4 years ago and I've consistently worn it. That speaks to the beauty of a simple, staple wardrobe piece, huh? I hadn't worn it in a bit so I thought today was the day!

I went into my scary jeans-hole (not an exaggeration) and produced one of my many pair of J Brands. These are a cute dark denim with a silver zipper at both ankles. I have no idea when or where I got them, as with most of my jeans, but I do know one thing: THEY DO NOT FIT. Okay, they got on but it wasn't fun. Thank goodness for those ankle zippers so I could remove them from my body immediately. To the donation pile with you!

I put on ANOTHER pair of dark J-Brands that do seem to fit and checked myself out in the mirror. I was dangerously close to sporting a Canadian Tuxedo, so I quickly grabbed my go-to pop o' pink mules by Dolce Vita. I have had so much fun wearing these this season and will be sad when it's no longer exposed-toe season (which it really should not be at this point but oh well, thanks global warming!).

I decided to really lean in on the pink accents and added my fave blush colored fringe earrings, a pinky-red lip and my pinky-nude leather Maje jacket that I'm in love with. Oh, and also my dusty rose colored backpack. When did I get so much pink shit?!

OutFIT or Leave IT?: The shirt is an oldie-but-goodie that I'm definitely not parting with. The jeans (the 2nd pair, that is) are a maybe. I'll give them one more shot but an entire denim drawer overhaul is probably in the works. You've been warned.
