Rockaway Daze

Lean back, lean back....

That's right, I finally did the Rockaway. We had day off work on Friday and the weather was stellar, so my friend (and photo-taker) Lizzie and I headed out for a day trip to Rockaway Beach, a sweet little surf town haven a mere 13 miles from Brooklyn (which is about 45 mins in NYC drive time) but still, hella close.

Clouds came in and the temp dropped a bit, which meant it was taco time. Rockaway Beach Surf Club + Tacoway Beach are well-known institutions and I was eager to get acquainted. I threw on this Forever21 maxi and headed on down to taco town. The dress is no show-stopper but it's comfy, easy and a great thing to have around for days like this. Easy, peasy tacos n' cheesy!

OutFIT or LeaveIT?: Not mad at this maxi yet, she was great to have around when the sun took a siesta.
