The Opposite Of Laboring

Greetings from our Brooklyn staycation! Our weekend was filled with family, a new restaurant and some homemade sausage-making (as you do). Monday, we met some friends at a nabe fave, Frankie's 457, which has a lovely outdoor area for enjoying the nice weather whilst stuffing yourself with carbs. In honor of Labor Day, I donned this Jack by BB Dakota white dress I bought to wear to our post-wedding brunch last year (bride'ing it up!). I figured it would be a great statement with the whole Labor Day/wearing white white debate. Of course, we'll still have nice weather here for a month or so (I PRAY!) and I'm sure I'll continue to wear white garb. I don't generally love the cold shoulder situation, but I do love this dress and am mostly just thrilled that it still fits. I pared it with these Eileen Fisher (yes, that's correct) Sport Sandals that I haven't worn in a few season and actually still really like. Overall, a winning day for the closet. 

OutFIT or LeaveIT?: The dress stays! And the shoes too!
