Falling For Florals

The first official day of Fall is September 22nd (thanks, Google) even though everyone keeps insisting "summer is over." STOPITPLEASE! It's going to be 88 degrees today in the sweaty apple, so I dressed accordingly.

This See by Chloé floaty lil' number came into my life via a clothing swap some friends and I had many years ago. It wasn't something I'd have picked out for myself but I've worn her too many times to count ever since! On schvitzy days like today, she's great with some sandals. But when the cooler fall temps roll in, I love this dress with some suede booties and a long, chunky sweater on top. And she's been worn many a time to one of my band's gigs paired with cowboy boots and a western swag. I have to thank my friend Sue for parting with this gal—I think she'll be in the rotation until she falls apart!
